A grave problem solved with this rebuilt stone wall

Here's a dry stone wall we've just completed in a graveyard in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.

It had been rebuilt only a few years ago, but its collapse was inevitable as the bottom retaining section was constructed with a single skin.
Thankfully we know better and we dug out the entire base to the maximum wall width.
This will provide a foundation that will last decades, not years!
