This dry stone wall collapsed due to the extensive rain over winter.
We did a full take down and rebuild of the collapsed section and a further stretch for peace of mind as it was alongside a neighbouring roof.
That involved pulling out all the stone and resetting flat firm footings before rebuilding with large new stones for the face that tie well back into the wall for the retaining strength needed for such a big wall.
One thing is sure - it will not be going anywhere for another century at least, as you can see from the pictures above.
