Wet weather brought down this wall – we rebuilt it

A dry stone wall damaged by wet weather and rebuilt by us

Here's a dry stone boundary wall that we were asked to rebuild in January after it had collapsed. This winter's wet weather has not been kind to stone walls, especially those built without solid foundations. To ensure a strong, stable wall that will last for many years, we like to start with good foundations. A trench with a firm base will pay off in the long run.
